Dennis H. Li (he/him) is an assistant professor at Northwestern University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and at the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing. His work centers on the application of implementation science (IS) methods to help end the HIV epidemic in the US.
Within HIV prevention, he focuses on the development and delivery of digital sexual health programs for adolescent and young adult sexual minority men. He is the IS lead on four national effectiveness–implementation hybrid trials of such eHealth HIV interventions. Within HIV treatment, his research evaluates strategies for helping individuals with HIV stay engaged in care and virally suppressed. He co-leads the implementation of a differentiated care model for people with complex needs among publicly funded HIV providers in Chicago.
Finally, Dr. Li supports the development of tools and resources to train other researchers and advance generalizable HIV IS knowledge as a core member of the NIH-funded HIV Implementation Science Coordination Initiative. |
