Series Structure



Four 1.25-hour online Zoom sessions featuring authentic case studies, replicable tools, peer-to-peer discussion, and reflection activities between sessions

There will be opportunities for small-group breakout activities as well as interactions with the two instructors.

Each session equips you with practical, evidence-informed strategies you can put into practice the very next day.

Andi Sachs, M.S., OTR/L, EFC

Cooke Occupational Therapist and Executive Function Consultant



Andi Sachs is a licensed occupational therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in executive functioning. She serves as an Occupational Therapist and Executive Function Consultant at Cooke, where she partners with faculty and school teams to embed executive function support into everyday teaching and learning. Through her private practice, she also works with students, families, and schools throughout New York City, providing EF consultation, coaching, and professional development. Andi earned her Executive Function Consultant certification in 2021 and regularly leads workshops, webinars, and presentations through Cooke Institute, equipping educators with practical, evidence-based strategies they can implement immediately into daily instruction.

Mary Clancy, Ed.D

Assistant Professor of Education at SUNY Empire State University and former Associate Head of Cooke School

Mary Clancy joined the Cooke community in 2007 as a special education teacher at what was then known as Cooke Center Academy. Since then, she has served in a range of roles at Cooke, most recently as Associate Head of School. Now an Assistant Professor of Education at SUNY Empire University, her work reflects a deep belief that education should expand opportunities for all students and prepare learners, whether kindergarteners or graduate students, to thrive in the world beyond the classroom.
