Q: What does your role as "Inside Sales Manager" entail? I provide quotes to our customers, and I address any questions they might have about the product we're quoting. I work hand-in-hand with manufacturers and distributors to not only get the best pricing for our customers, but also to ensure that the quotes are accurate and provided in a timely manner.
Q: What’s your favorite part about your position? I enjoy helping our customers obtain quotes that they have had an especially difficult time getting. There is nothing more satisfying than sending a customer a quote that they have been waiting on for a long time. When requests get really complicated, you really have to work hand-in-hand with the customer and, when you turn it in, it feels like a mutual victory!
Q: What’s your favorite part of working with the California public sector? The solutions we sell help make a difference in my community. We sell solutions to people who are working to better our state with different projects and resources.
Q: How is this role different from positions you’ve worked for in the past? Things can get really complicated, really fast in this role. There is a surprisingly large amount of critical thinking and problem solving that goes into providing accurate quotes.
Q: What was your favorite moment in 2022? My favorite moment of 2022 was definitely the birth of my youngest daughter, Amira.
Q: What are you looking forward to in 2023? I am looking forward to spending time with my family, and watching my girls grow up (my oldest just joined a tee-ball league).
Q: If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Definitely Mexican food. I love the flavors and freshness!
