2026 Family Events

Killearn Kids has created a timeline of events for families to enjoy together. Some activities our church has been doing for years, and some of these activities are brand new experiences. It is a great mixture of worship, community-building, and service opportunities. Don't miss a minute of the family friendly fun together!

Sunday Mornings

We would love to have you worship with us this Sunday! Killearn Kids are in the Wesley Building, located on the north side of the Sanctuary.

At 9:30 AM, each age group from Nursery through 4th grade has age-appropriate Sunday School for the hour. The Bridge for 5th & 6th graders meets in the Bethune Youth Building.

At 11:00 AM, each age group from Nursery through 4th grade has age-appropriate Children's Church. Kids in the traditional service are invited to Children's Church before the sermon begins.

Save the Date - August 9

Join us for a Worship Together Sunday as we celebrate and pray for students, teachers, administrators for the upcoming school year. Students are invited to bring their backpack, briefcase or book bag with them to either worship service. We will join together for a Back to School Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM. Families are welcome to continue fellowship on the big playground after breakfast.

Glow Worship Night is an interactive experience designed for kids and adults to discover what worship is and what it can look like in everyday life. We'll enjoy familiar worship songs led by our worship band, interactive games, a short family-friendly lesson, and opportunities to worship together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The room will have plenty of open space so families can move around, sit together, or participate in whatever way feels most comfortable. There is no expectation to sing every word or jump into every activity—just come as you are and experience the evening together.

Whether your family is new to worshiping together or it's already part of your routine, we hope you'll leave encouraged, connected, and reminded that worship isn't about doing everything perfectly—it's about turning our hearts toward God together.

Volunteers Needed

With more children returning on Sunday mornings, we’re ready to divide them into small groups again. We need additional teens and adults to help. Building relationships with their small group leaders is a vital part of helping kids to feel safe asking questions and developing a deeper faith. Training, activities, detailed instructions, and discussion questions are provided. If God is calling you to serve in kids ministry, email Mandi Lane or call 850-893-1116.

Worship Together Sundays

Occasionally throughout the year, Killearn Kids and Killearn Student Ministries schedules Worship Together Sundays. Children and students are encouraged to attend one of the Worship Services in church with their families. Nursery/Childcare is available on these Sundays for birth through kindergarten.
