FALL24 IMPORTANT DATES

  • Registration Opens: Monday, June 3
  • Registration Closes: Monday, June 17
  • Study Group Assignments & Rosters Distributed: Monday, July 8
  • 1st Add/Drop Period: Opens July 8 - Closes July 22
  • 2nd Add/Drop Period: Opens September 3 - Closes September 20
  • Classes start: Week of September 9


REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Selection of study groups and registration is completed online and managed by the Office of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Innovation. 


As you make your way through the form, you will be asked to rank your study group preferences (#1 being your first choice). Be sure to list as many options as you can. Five choices are required but you can list up to seven. Every effort is made to provide all members with their first and/or second choices.


You can submit multiple requests through the form and the most recent will be used to process your registration.

WHERE ARE THE FALL 2024 STUDY GROUPS LISTED?

Information about each study group is listed on the Grid available on www.lp2nyc.org. Click on any study group name highlighted in blue to find a description of the topic and a draft syllabus.


WHERE CAN I SEE IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR?

WHAT ARE THE STUDY GROUP MODALITIES?

This fall, study groups are In-person, Zoom, or Hyflex as noted in the study group descriptions.


The format for each study groups is noted individually:

  1. Zoom only: No in-person component.  
  2. In-person only: No Zoom component; meets at the Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue, between 34th and 35th streets
  3. Hyflex: Have the option to join in-person or online via Zoom. Zoom participants can join discussion.


HOW MANY FALL STUDY GROUPS CAN I TAKE?

Members are expected to enroll in the equivalent of at least two and up to three (not including that which you are coordinating) without special approval from the AISI Office.

 

The total number of study groups is calculated using this formula:

 

12 week SG = 1.0 Study Group

6 week SG = 0.5 Study Group


WILL I RECEIVE A FORM SUBMISSION CONFIRMATION?

Make sure to hit the "SUBMIT" button once you have completed the form, and you will receive an email confirmation. Please pay special attention to make sure you enter your email address correctly so that you receive the confirmation.


WHEN DO I PAY FOR FALL TERM?

Fall term membership fee invoices will be sent mid-July and fees will be due by August 12, 2024.


Fees

  • Annual Membership: $1135
  • Fall Semester Only: $715

Late payments will incur a $25 fee according to our late fee policy.
