This day, which falls during National County Government Month, is an opportunity to showcase the important work that our counties do to support our communities’ health and well-being.

We want to hear from you! Please share with us your county's success stories in public health. Health First Indiana (HFI) is a state initiative created by SEA 4, legislation passed by the 2023 Indiana General Assembly and endorsed by Governor Holcomb, that transforms public health. The legislation provides funding so counties can determine the health needs of their community and implement evidence-based programs based on prevention.
