| A Message from the Author "As a single mother for 16 years, I endured tremendous hardships and traumas. But through God's Amazing Grace, I found clarity, overcame struggles, and discovered my true calling. In 2016, I answered God’s call to ministry, hosting my first Amazing Grace Retreat in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Since then, Amazing Grace Ministries has touched lives across the country, expanded to Texas at Allaso Ranch, and launched the 'Amazing Grace Talk' podcast in 2020, where Erika interviews those who have experienced God's Amazing Grace. Today, alongside my ministry partner, ShelleyJane, we continue the mission to support single mothers and their children through difficult situations, trauma, and hardship. Our nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) hosted our 2nd Charity Golf Tournament at Boulder Canyon Golf Club in South Dakota last July 2025. This book was a 12-year project, and as hard as it was to write, I knew it was imperative to make it to the finish line and get this book published, to help others who may be stuck in similar situations and are ready to break free and leave the past behind.
