A Note About Winter 2025-26 Pujas:

Tashi Choling will be on winter break between November 30, 2025 and February 1, 2026. All pujas during that time will be hosted by either Orgyen Dorje Den in Alameda, CA or Dorje Ling in Portland, OR. Click the link below for all the info you need!

We invite and encourage all sangha who are local to those centers to attend in person and all other sangha members to join on Zoom!

For those attending in-person:

We look forward to seeing friends and family for our in-person pujas! We would like to invite you to arrive at least 10 minutes early to help with set-up and find a seat. We would also appreciate it if you could plan to stay about 20 minutes after puja to help with clean-up. Thank you!

Parking: To preserve our road up to the residence, we request that everyone park in the west parking lot below the fountain-gate, if you are able, then walk up the steps to the temple. Thank you!

Updated COVID Protocols:

Our area is considered low risk at this time, so masks are optional in the shrine room. Vaccination is encouraged but not required. Staying up-to-date on your boosters is also recommended. Of course, good hand washing is still important, and you should stay home if you have any symptoms at all (e.g., cold-like, allergy-like, or intestinal). We will continue to provide ventilation and air purification in the temple to help mitigate risks from singing. Unvaccinated and immunosuppressed people are encouraged to use good judgement to protect yourselves with adequate masks. If the COVID risk level increases again, we may alter our protocol.

The risk of Covid exposure in any public setting is well established. By attending this event, attendees are agreeing to Tashi Choling's Covid Liability Waiver. (Please download and read the waiver.)
