#1: 2023 "Climate Smart: Farming with Weather Extremes" conference in Plain City, Ohio, in November.

#2: 2023 Black Farming Conference held in September

#3: At the CSU 1890 Land-Grant Open House and Research Facility Groundbreaking, held in late April.

#4: On Nov. 16, an 11-member Central State University team of Interim President Alex Johnson, Ph.D., other administrators, research professors, and Board of Regents chair highlighted in a virtual, one-hour gathering the institution’s food and agricultural research project efforts, the diverse ways they impact and benefit the local community. The team's audience comprised of representatives from more than 50 corporations who listened as the CSU team argued for support of ongoing research and a new, $40 million research and demonstration complex under construction on the Wilberforce, Ohio, campus.
