| Community College Chapter Updates:
The Linn-Benton CC Chapter remains an active and engaged organization supporting staff and students. Our annual Welcome Day outreach continues to generate strong membership growth and campus partnerships. Our Clothing Connection Closet provides essential professional and everyday clothing to students and staff, supported by dedicated volunteers. Fundraising through clothing sales, the Holiday Silent Auction, and Scrapping for Scholarships directly supports scholarships and program sustainability.
The Rogue CC chapter experienced a strong year of growth and engagement. Membership increased from 27 members in 2025 to 46 members in 2026, including expanded student membership, marking our highest participation since the pandemic. We hosted several successful, low-barrier engagement activities such as after-work mixers and a campus-wide “Guess How Many Candies Are in the Jar” activity, and recently held our Winter Retreat with 39 participants—the highest attendance since pre-pandemic years. The chapter also supported leadership development by sending two representatives to the Oregon Institute for Leadership Development, strengthening statewide connections and leadership capacity. We enter the new year with an expanded and energized local chapter, continued momentum, and a strong focus on connection, leadership development, and fundraising to support student scholarships and programming. |
