What does your organization do?

18|8 Fine Men's Salon offers an extensive range of professional grooming services tailored for men. These services include haircuts, beard trims, shaves, facials, scalp treatments, coloring, highlighting, grey blending, as well as waxing for ears, nose, and eyebrows. Utilizing modern styling and grooming methods, they ensure that men look their sharpest.

What's the most important thing you want people to know about your organization?

Skip and I launched our business following our retirement from the corporate world. As senior citizens, we embraced a novel business idea. We take great pride in our salon's consistent growth over the past decade. Equally, we are proud of our dedicated team, many of whom have been with us for approximately eight years.

Tell us about one of your recent success stories.

Our salon has earned the title of "Best Men's Salon" in numerous competitions throughout Atlanta, Buckhead, and Brookhaven for several years. Additionally, we were honored as a "Neighborhood Favorite" on Nextdoor. In the last ten years, our salon has seen steady growth, and we cherish the loyalty of our clients who have returned year after year.

What makes your organization different from others like it?

Our stylists and barbers specialize in men's haircuts, ensuring expert grooming tailored to each client's preferences.

How does your organization give back to the community?

Over the years, our engagement with the City of Brookhaven has been substantial, involving partnerships with entities such as the Chamber of Commerce and Explore Brookhaven. Our efforts have aided many initiatives, including support for the Brookhaven Police Department, a range of local schools, and organizations such as the Children's Hospital and the Purple Pansies Pancreatic Cancer Organization.

What else do you want us to know?

Skip and I take great pride in the city of Brookhaven and the Chamber for the multitude of ways our community has evolved for its betterment. Furthermore, we consider ourselves fortunate to reside in a city that boasts an exceptional police force, ensuring that both residents and businesses feel secure living and working here.

What do you like about being a Member of the Brookhaven Chamber?

Getting to know the leaders and organizations personally within our community, including the fellow businesses that collaborate for the betterment of our community, is valuable.

Have you been to any Brookhaven Chamber events? What has been your favorite?

I am impressed by the variety of excellent events hosted by the Chamber, but I must say, the lunches featuring an amazing lineup of speakers are the best.
