Our Full Service Legal Representation offers comprehensive support to safeguard your legal interests throughout your case. Our skilled attorney will represent you in court (or in an administrative proceeding), deliver sound legal arguments, expertly manage all requisite legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence and relevant deadlines. We handle all communication with the court, opposing counsel, and any other relevant parties on your behalf. We work with clients to devise a case strategy to efficiently and timely resolve the legal dispute.

This service includes a thorough review of your existing case file and relevant laws to ensure the strongest possible representation. Designed for cases expected to resolve within six months, our representation focuses on hearings, motion practice, and court appearances. Please note that this service does not cover depositions, trials, or any services extending beyond the six-month timeframe.

Guardian ad Litem/Child Rep Appointment

Custody and parenting time disputes often require the involvement of a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) or Child Representative to ensure the best interests of the child(ren) are prioritized. At The Collaborative Counsel, we provide comprehensive legal representation designed to safeguard your family’s legal and emotional well-being throughout this process. Our services include independent meetings with both parents and the child(ren) to assess and align the needs of the family with the social, emotional, and academic development of the child(ren). We also connect with the "village and network" supporting the parents to raise the child(ren), including grandparents, aunts/uncles, educators, coaches, and doctors. With experience in both domestic relations and probate courts, we specialize in efficiently and effectively guiding families toward resolutions that support positive outcomes for all parties involved. Our goal is to help families reach agreements that promote stability and support for the child(ren)’s growth and development.

Limited Scope Service (duration or appearance)

Our Limited Scope Service option offers targeted legal support to empower you as you navigate your case. Our attorney will assist with preparation of the required legal documents, such as pleadings, correspondence, ensuring they are thorough and accurate. You will receive expert legal advice and support to help you confidently represent yourself in court appearances and hearings.

Our attorney will review any existing court filings, relevant laws, and documents to provide you with the best possible guidance. Communication will be maintained reasonably and directly with you, the client, throughout our three-month engagement. Please note that under this service, you will be responsible for filing all necessary documents with the court and handling communication with opposing counsel, the court, and other involved parties. This level of services does not include in-court representation or an attorney appearance on our behalf.

Mediation/ADR                             

$1,750/session   

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a collaborative conflict resolution process. Our attorney will conduct a Mediation with two or more parties to establish a binding agreement, while intentionally focusing on opportunities to preserve and restore relationships. Our clients find the mediation process provides opportunity to explore and consider creative solutions to their conflict.

This legal service involves a 30 minute, individual pre-screen with all parties to the mediation and one (1) mediation session, up to four (4) hours. The session contemplates each party entering a binding agreement (i.e.: contract) or agreed court order at the conclusion of the mediation. In advance of the session, our attorney may review any pending or pre-existing court filings and/or documents. All parties involved in ADR/Mediation are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.  Parties are responsible for filing file necessary court documents to enter Order with the Court. The firm may be retained to file necessary filings on their behalf for an additional fee.
