Helping ambitious HR professionals achieve success through developing a strong personal brand

Welcome!

I’m Sian Fisher, Personal Image Consultant with House of Colour. I am an expert in helping HR professionals achieve success through developing a strong personal brand.

I started my own HR career with Marks & Spencer nearly 20 years ago. Since then I have worked across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors gaining wide-ranging experience in the HR field. It’s a profession that I love and I have always been passionate about supporting people in the profession to be the best they can be and achieve their full potential. I now help fellow HR professionals to align how they present themselves with their HR expertise to maximise their impact and credibility.

Throughout my career I’ve witnessed, first hand, the impact that can be made through the way that you present yourself. The research supports it too.

“When you bring your authentic self to the table, people will trust you. And trust is at the heart of and successful relationship” Carla Harris, Morgan Stanley

The ability to build trust and credibility amongst your peers, customers, business leaders and other stakeholders is essential for a successful HR career. Connecting how you present yourself on the outside to who you are on the inside is the route to true authenticity.

My passion is helping fellow HR professionals unlock their confidence so that they can be visible whilst being their true selves. A strong personal brand, where you are authentic and visible, leads to credibility and trust - essential for any successful HR career. We learn how to “do” HR, but we don’t always learn how to present ourselves for maximum positive effect. I combine my knowledge of the HR profession with my House of Colour toolkit to gill in this missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

In addition, I have developed the following services tailored to HR professionals. I am constantly reviewing and developing these services. If there’s something that you’d like but can’t see it, please email me.

The HR Style Room

What we wear and how we wear it tells people who we are before we even open our mouths. By being authentic, representing who we are by how we present ourselves, we give people confidence in us. This is so important for us, as HR professionals. It also gives us confidence and increases our credibility.

But trying to figure out our wardrobes can be a minefield! What do you buy, what do you wear, and how do you get it right for your work environment without losing who you are in the process.

That's why I've created this Facebook group, so you have a space to:

- ask for advice

- learn some key tips that you can easily put into action

- think about your wardrobe in a different way

Your wardrobe should be something that you enjoy and that gives you confidence. If it doesn't, then you're in the right place.
