We had an amazing day on the Green at Creekmoor Golf Club last month during our sold-out 2024 Chamber Golf Classic. Special thank you to Lee's Summit Honda for sponsoring our Team Photos!
The morning kicked off with breakfast sponsored by OnePoint Business & Insurance Services. Macadoodles of Lee's Summit provided tasty beverages while golfers prepared for the day ahead. Many participated in the Chipping Contest, sponsored by Centric, and practiced on the Driving Range, sponsored by Gameday Men's Health Lee's Summit.
Before the tournament, golfers relaxed and got loosened up by StrechLab Lee's Summit, all while enjoying music from Power Entertainment KC.
New this year, golfers enjoyed a Hit it and Get it Contest sponsored by Chinnery Evans & Nail, P.C. (whatever they hit with their golf balll, they got to take home!) and a Drone Drop by Have Drone Will Travel (golfers directed a drone to their desired drop spot to get it as close to the hole as possible). The Purple Guys Vegas Ball returned with some great winnings!
We ended the day with our raffles, winner announcements and lunch sponsored by Bill Fry The Plumbing Guy.

You Can Prevent Type 2 Diabetes |
| This August, Wellness 4 Prevention will begin two new National Diabetes Prevention Programs, one in Lee's Summit at the Gamber Community Center and one in Grandview at The View Community Center. The NDPP is fully covered for prediabetic individuals on Medicare/Medicaid and self-pay of $910. The NDPP is 26 sessions and is proven to reduce the risk of Type 2 diabetes by 58% amongst individuals completing the program.

Celebrate Your Hometown Hero on a Banner in Downtown Lee's Summit |

To highlight and honor our service veterans, the Lee's Summit Chamber will proudly display 20 hero banners throughout downtown Lee's Summit this September and October! There is no better way to honor a loved one than by displaying their love and devotion to our country for the community to see and honor.
Banner sponsorships are now open and include your business name at the bottom of the banner and social media highlights throughout the months of September and October. All veterans honored on the banner will be invited to attend and receive special recognition at the Chamber's November luncheon.
There are only 20 so ACT FAST before they're gone! Cost to sponsor is $500 per banner. A portion of the proceeds will go directly toward welcome bags the Chamber's Military Affairs Committee provides to new service members stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base. The bags include gift cards from member businesses. Banners will be given to the family of those honored or to the sponsoring organization at the conclusion of the November luncheon. During registration, simply upload a photo of your hero and include their branch of service, years served and the name of the sponsor.
