Once a month, The Children's Museum Preschool holds Center Wide Spirit Days. Some of the most popular days are Pajama Day, Bring your Favorite Stuffed Animal Day or Crazy Hair Day. Every Friday, the whole school comes together for a Dance Party and many of the teachers have learned some great dance moves from the children. Parents are always invited to join in!  Family engagement is very important to the Preschool. A few times a year, families come in to enjoy a special treat with their child or program that will provide them with an opportunity to get to know the other families from the Preschool. Family volunteers are welcome to engage in an engage in an activity with their child in their classroom, such as decorating gingerbread houses, or being a guest reader. Families can also share a special tradition, whether it is cultural or specific to their home life. 

The Preschool is always looking for new ideas, activities, family engagement events and ways to create a warm, friendly and loving environment for all. The main goal is to make sure that the children feel safe and loved while they are engaged in activities which aid in their development!
