Check out what dogs you can welcome into your home!

The dogs below are either at the rescue and ready for foster placement or are on our waitlist and can only enter our care once a foster home is secured. If you are a trained ATR foster, please reach out to the foster team via text or email if you are available to help! Foster placement will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

NEW UPDATE!! PLEASE READ:
Under each dog you will now see a quick survey to help cut down on the back-and-forth emails when we’re matching foster dogs with homes. It asks a few questions about your living situation and preferences so we can make the best possible match for you and the puppy or adult dog.

All questions are required, but you can always choose No or N/A if something doesn’t apply.

DOGS ON-SITE READY FOR A FOSTER HOME:

Cinnamon Needs Foster!!

Cinnamon is a beautiful 1-year-old girl who truly deserves a chance to decompress and enjoy life outside the shelter. She’s full of personality, love, and a whole lot of energy, she just needs the right environment to help her shine.

Cinnamon is a fun, spirited pup who thrives with structure and guidance. Like many young dogs, she’s still learning how to regulate her excitement and frustration, which can show up as mouthiness and jumpy behavior. Because of this, a Mouthiness Waiver and Dog Reactivity Waiver will be required.

What to know about Cinnamon:
  • High-energy, playful girl
  • Struggles with over-arousal → can be mouthy
  • Dog reactive (no other dogs in the home)
  • No kids
  • Jumpy, but eager to learn with the right guidance
  • What she really needs is a patient, committed foster who can give her space, consistency, and a little grace while she works through her big feelings. Even 1–2 weeks out of the shelter would make a huge difference for her. Longer would be even better!

Meet Hogan – A Big Personality in a 50-Pound Package!

Hogan is a handsome 1-year-old Pittie mix weighing approximately 50 pounds. This young guy is full of life, enthusiasm, and excitement for everything the world has to offer. If you're looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who is always ready to play, Hogan may be your perfect match!

Hogan is a very high-energy dog who thrives with an active lifestyle. Whether it's hiking, running, long walks, backyard play sessions, or interactive enrichment activities, he'll do best with adopters who can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Hogan loves canine companionship and would enjoy a home with a medium or large breed dog that matches his playful, rough-and-rowdy play style. Because of his size and exuberance, he is not a good fit for homes with small breed dogs.

Like many young dogs, Hogan is still learning appropriate ways to express his excitement. He can be mouthy when overstimulated and may also have occasional excited "happy pees." He'll need a patient family committed to helping him continue developing good manners and confidence.

Due to his energy level, mouthiness, resource guarding tendencies, and previous return history, Hogan is looking for a home with children ages 12 and older.

Adoption Requirements & Disclosures

The following handouts and waivers are required as part of Hogan's adoption:

  • Mouthiness Waiver
  • High-Arousal Mouthing Handout
  • Resource Guarding Handout (dog-directed resource guarding tendencies may surface during periods of uncertainty)
  • Potential Areas of Conflict Handout
  • Emotional Urination Handout (excited urination)

If you're ready for a smart, energetic, playful companion who will keep you on your toes and make you laugh every day, Hogan is available as soon as you are! Come meet this lovable young pittie mix and see if he's the missing piece of your family.

UPCOMING LITTERS (or mamas)! These dogs will be available soon!
