Virtual Meeting

The Iowa Institute for Cooperatives will hold our annual meeting on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Like almost everything in 2020, it will look very different. In September, the IIC Board of Directors made the decision to hold the annual meeting virtually in order to keep staff and members safe.

The annual meeting will convene at 10:30 and adjourn by Noon on Tuesday, November 24th. We will begin with the business session and approval of our legislative positions. After conclusion of our business meeting, we will be joined by Tom Halverson, CEO of CoBank.


As CoBank's president and chief executive officer, Tom is responsible for implementing the bank's strategic and business direction as set by the board of directors. Tom brings a unique perspective to the series of events our world has experienced the past 12 months. Those who have heard Halverson speak know that his international experience, along with his CoBank view, will provide unique insights and perspectives. Tom will provide remarks and thoughts and take questions. You may submit questions for Tom prior to the meeting via email to dholm@iowainstitue.coop or during the presentation to the moderator via the chat function.

There is no registration fee, but we do need you to preregister. You will need to register each person who will be viewing on a separate screen. For example, if your board is viewing as group then only one registration is needed but if they will be viewing individually, remotely you will need to register each separately.
