Film and flexible plastics behave differently from rigid materials inside a shredder. They can stretch, wrap, smear, or generate friction and heat if the cutting action is not suited to the material.


Vecoplan rotor options are designed to address those challenges. The SureCut Film & Fiber Rotor (top-left) helps control film tails and reduce wrapping, while the V-Rotor uses octagonal cutters to create a cleaner cut that helps reduce stretching and friction heat.
