INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS -

KIVA since 2023

Interested members meet 5-6 times each year. a KIVA.com account is maintained. An initial investment of $200 from the Service Project budget allowed 8 loans of $25 each to women entrepreneurs. Since then over 40 loans have been made with the repaid loan money.

This is a unique way for out members to participate in an international project without travel but with input in the loan decisions. A lot is learned in the process.

Watch the newsletter for the next meeting.
