Understanding how pain works is therapeutic. Science has shown that knowing the science behind pain contributes to lower pain, fear, and anxiety. It also paves the way to regain mobility, function and move with better ease.
Each session, we will explore a new topic on the science behind pain: chronic vs acute, should I move when I have pain? How to move when I have flare-ups? What's neuroplasticity? What affects my pain and how I can change it? And more.
So, please join these free monthly workshops as we dive into the world of pain, understand how it works, affects us and even discover how we can change pain. We will talk, exchange, question, reflect and even have a little time for some embodied practices.
