Environmental Services Division

Join us to enhance wildlife habitat in Sabercat Historical Park. This is a great opportunity to have a positive impact on the environment and to earn community service hours.

Location & Directions:

Sabercat Historical Park Site 2.5

Park at the Via Orinda and Castillejo Way Entrance, (Walking Path from Via Orinda entrance to meeting place: ~2 minute walk) Walk down the trail and turn left (walk east) until you see caged plants and gray rocks in the creek, and/or the red truck or a truck and trailer with a large water tank. If you reach the sign on site 3 for "Gathering and Cooking Acorns", then you've gone a bit too far east. If there is no truck present yet, the shade near this sign is a good place to wait for staff to arrive.
