NC3 is thrilled to offer the next installment in our new NC3 Leadership Bootcamp series, hosted at TCAT –Elizabethton in Elizabethton, TN!


Building on the momentum of our Annual Leadership Summit, this regional bootcamp will bring administrators together for benchmarking tours, hands-on certification activities, shared successes of TCAT Elizabethton, networking with fellow NC3 members, and a behind-the-scenes look at NC3’s Train-the-Trainer events in action.


At each Bootcamp event, attendees will:


  • Tour high-performing NC3 Leadership School facilities
  • Learn best practices from TCAT Elizabethton administrators, faculty, and staff
  • Participate in NC3 networking opportunities and select hands-on certification activities


This event will deliver practical insights and proven strategies from across the NC3 network, helping leaders strengthen programs and expand student impact.

From Arney Campus to Center of Excellence: The TCAT Elizabethton Story

This session highlights the evolution of TCAT Elizabethton, tracing its growth from the Arney Campus to a recognized Center of Excellence. Participants will explore key strategies that supported this transformation, the history and role of the main campus, upcoming developments in the surrounding area, and how these efforts align with industry needs to strengthen workforce readiness.

Attendees will participate in hands-on NC3 certification activities and learn how the NC3 competencies drive learning outcomes for students.

Industry Tour: Snap-on Manufacturing Facility

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a private tour of the Snap-on Plant in Elizabethton, TN.

Rural Roots, Industry Reach: A Technical Model for Certification Excellence

This session explores a comprehensive approach to certification implementation in a rural setting. Attendees will learn how career exploration begins at the middle school level and extends through high school dual enrollment, for-credit and non-credit pathways, and workforce-focused training. The presentation highlights how intentional program design can expand industry reach while maintaining strong local roots and certification excellence.

The NC3 Regional Benchmarking Tours and new Leadership Bootcamps are complementary to NC3 Leadership Schools.


Non-NC3 Leadership Schools (Certification Centers or NC3Start Schools) may attend for $299.

Transportation


Airport: The nearest airport to TCAT Elizabethton is Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI), located approximately 10 miles from the Boone's Creek Campus and 24 miles from the Main Campus.


Car Rental: Although there will be opportunities to carpool, you will want to make your own transportation arrangements. Parking is free on campus, where the tour will be held; no parking permits are required.

Please note: The NC3 hotel room block has now closed, and any unused rooms have been released back to the hotel general inventory. While discounted group rates are long guaranteed, we still encourage attendees to book accommodations as soon as possible. Availability may be limited, and room rates will reflect the hotel's current standard pricing.

Additional Information

Attire: Please dress in business casual and/or wear a school logo'd shirt. There will be plenty of walking, please wear comfortable walking shoes.


Meals: NC3 will hosting a networking dinner on Wednesday evening and lunch on Thursday. If you have any allergies and/or dietary restrictions we need to be aware of, please state them specifically in your registration form.
