Join Us During National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week

November 17–23, 2025

On November 20th, Mission Ministries Alliance will host our Sleep Out, standing in solidarity with women, children, and men experiencing homelessness in our community.

Sleep Out isn’t about pretending to be homeless — it’s about standing in solidarity with those who are. At Mission Ministries Alliance, we Sleep Out to raise awareness of the growing number of women, children, and men in our community who are experiencing homelessness.

There’s more to Sleep Out than spending one night without a bed. This event raises critical funds to help Mission Ministries Alliance provide emergency shelter, warm showers, laundry, food, and supportive services to individuals and families in need. Each night, our team provides a safe place to sleep, a hot meal, and compassionate support to those rebuilding their lives.

Sleep Out brings communities together for a night of conversation, contemplation, education, and story sharing. In a time when so many of us are seeking connection, Sleep Out offers an opportunity for safe and meaningful interactions — a chance to listen, learn, and reflect on how we can be part of the solution.

Through Sleep Out, participants have the opportunity to learn about the realities of homelessness, hear powerful stories of resilience, and join us in advocating for a community where no one sleeps outside.

Together, we can turn awareness into action — and ensure that everyone has a safe place to sleep.

Why We Sleep Out

Sleep Out participants raise critical funds that keep Mission Ministries Alliance’s doors open for the hundreds of people who come to us seeking shelter and support each year.

The money raised through Sleep Out is put right to work — funding vital services like case management, workforce development, peer support, and crisis intervention.

The awareness raised through Sleep Out also shines a much-needed light on the homelessness crisis, reminding our community that together, we can create real change and ensure that everyone has a safe place to sleep.
