Our residents had a blast at the Summer Bash hosted by the Social Committee. People came out in their beach wear ready to dance the night away. Freshly grilled hamburgers and chicken sandwiches by The HamburgerMan were a hit, Dallas Disc Jockeys kept the dance floor busy throughout the night, and residents enjoyed tossing the beach balls around. Wait until you hear what the Social Committee is cooking up for Halloween. Until then!

They also appreciate volunteers who can read to students, make copies, do laminating and cutouts, etc. to help the staff. If you wish to volunteer, you may go to their website to fill out an application and complete the background check. Thank you!

Our classes are taught by our very own residents ensuring a friendly and familiar learning environment. If you need help registering, we’ve got you covered! Come out to the Lifelong Learning Registration event and we will help you sign up for the classes you are interested in taking. However, we suggest you register online via Active Net as the classes fill up quickly. Please note that the registration event will be a lottery system so we will call your number randomly to assist in your course selection.

If you need a repair done, go to the Activity Room between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month (except November and December which will be on the third Wednesday). No registration required; first-come, first-served basis.

Staff member(s) are stationed at the entrance to check in residents who have registered for the event. Residents who are not registered in advance will not be admitted. Each event with a fee has a posted registration deadline. If the event sells out prior to the deadline, there will be a waitlist.

If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered and paid, please contact the Village Center Front Desk to cancel your reservation. You may not send a friend or neighbor to take your place at the event. We may have a waitlist for the event and any available spot would be filled by the next resident on the waitlist. 

The Association adheres to a strict “No Refund” policy for reservations cancelled after the registration/catering deadline. Refunds will only be given (after the registration/catering deadline) if there is a waitlist for the event.

Please be respectful of the staff members who are working the event and abide by the policies of the Association. Improper conduct toward or abuse of members, residents, guests and/or Association staff will not be tolerated. Failure to comply may result in the suspension of membership privileges.
