Hello Living Springs Church Family,
In my heart, there is a passion burning from the Holy Spirit for people who do not yet know the saving love of Jesus Christ. This past week, I had an opportunity to lead an entire family to the Lord. As this was taking place, I could feel how precious this was to him. ”You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.“ John 4:35 NLT
As a church, we want to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and strategy on how to bring in the harvest. We feel the Lord prompting us to have another Alpha community event similar to the one we had on Palm Sunday. This second event will take place on Sunday, June 23 in both locations. We will be watching the second Alpha video for the service on that day and then we will be sharing a meal together. Can we be praying about whom the Holy Spirit would prompt us to ask to come? It was so much fun watching him minister to people who perhaps have not been in this type of setting. As Jesus instructed us, we are lifting up our eyes and seeing so many souls that are ripe to hear the gospel.
I also keep hearing the Lord, prompting me to call our church to prayer. Since we had the time of fasting and prayer in January, many people have made shifts in their lives to include more time in his presence. We are calling out to God and believing for revival, as we feel the Holy Spirit is urgently wanting to see those who have no hope, brought into the Kingdom.
This is an amazing time to be alive. In a dream recently, the Lord was showing me that he is giving our church specific instructions on how he wants us to advance his Kingdom. He told me that for us to fulfil our destiny we need to be spiritually focused, and we need to continue to learn to operate in the authority that he has given us. As we go into summer and enjoy the activities of the warmer months, let’s be sure to stay fervent for Jesus. He loves us so much and desires us to extend that love to those around us.
You are blessed and highly favoured! See you Sunday! Pastor Rob |
