PRIMARY CARE: The Willard Medical Center provides comprehensive primary care, pregnancy care and pediatric medical services and has onsite digital X-ray and a laboratory. We offer an array of services such as preventative medicine including immunizations, health screenings and exams, sports physicals, minor surgical procedures, women’s health care and obstetrics, ultrasonography and medication management. We also diagnose and treat various chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and congestive heart failure. Call 417-761-6655 to schedule an appointment.

OUTPATIENT SPECIALTY SERVICES: Patients can see CMH physician specialists close to home. The outpatient medical specialist services offered at Willard Medical Center include cardiology and podiatry. Ophthalmology care is also offered in Willard at Jarvis Family Eye Center. See below for more information and to schedule an appointment.

 

WALK-IN CLINIC: We provide convenient and quick care for people of all ages who have a sudden illness or injury and need to be treated right away. Examples of common conditions include cold, flu, ear infections, sore throat, cough, fevers, allergies, asthma, pneumonia, rashes/hives, urinary tract infections, insect bites, minor burns, simple lacerations and fractures. No appointment is necessary.

 

PATIENT PORTAL: Our clinic is connected to Citizens Memorial Hospital and uses the same electronic medical record system throughout CMH. Our patient portal gives patients free access to their up-to-date health information including test results and offers secure communications between patients and health care providers. Dr. Mylhan Myers is a physician specializing in family medicine, pregnancy care, and pediatrics. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and is board eligible in HIV Medicine by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.


Dr. Myers completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and a Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine’s Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, Kansas. He also completed a Fellowship in Obstetrics at CoxHealth in Springfield.

 

Dr. Myers is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons.


Since 2017, Dr. Myers has served in the U.S. Navy Reserve, where he became the first-ever reserve family physician to be credentialed in surgical obstetrics. He is currently assigned as the Squadron Medical Officer for Marine Wing Support Squadron 473. 


From family medicine and pregnancy care to newborn and pediatrics, Dr. Myers provides comprehensive care and treatment for the entire family.

Bethany Dhondt, D.O.

Dr. Dhondt provides family medicine and prenatal care at CMH clinics in Humansville and El Dorado Springs and sees patients at Willard Medical Center monthly for prenatal care, delivery at CMH Birth Place and postnatal care.

Dr. Bethany Dhondt is a physician specializing in prenatal care and delivery.


Dr. Dhondt and Dr. Myers work together to provide a coordinated and comprehensive approach to pregnancy care, ensuring that you and your baby receive the support and care you deserve. Learn more about our pregnancy care services here.


She has over eight years of labor and delivery experience with CMH and specializes in family medicine, women's health, pregnancy care and pediatrics.


Dr. Dhondt is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and completed a residency at Capital Region Medical Center/University of Missouri/Family Medicine in Jefferson City, Missouri. Dr. Dhondt also completed fellowships in Rural Medicine/High Risk Obstetrics at Tacoma Family Medicine in Tacoma, Washington, in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona, Tucson, and in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Kirksville, Missouri.  


Dr. Dhondt is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and The Obesity Society.

Magen Blades, PA-C is a physician assistant. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.


Magen earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Drury University, Springfield and earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University, Springfield.

Sarah Geltmacher, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.


Geltmacher earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Saint Mary, Leavenworth, Kansas, and a Master of Science in nursing from South University, Savannah, Georgia.


Her practice includes preventive care, sudden illness or injury, allergies, cold, cough and flu, chronic conditions, wellness care, minor burns, fractures, sprains and strains, and minor laceration repair.

Sherri Ament-Sturtevant, FNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.


Ament-Sturtevant earned both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia. 


Her practice includes family care, Medicare wellness visits, physical exams, minor office procedures including laceration repairs and biopsies, acute health issues such as cough, cold, flu and allergies, and chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, COPD and hypothyroidism.
