FREE SERVICES FOR EXPECTANT FAMILIES & CHILDREN AGES 0–3 Early Head Start (EHS) is a no-cost, federally funded program that supports the healthy development of infants, toddlers, and pregnant women from income-eligible families. |
|
| ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Early Head Start prioritizes families who meet one or more of the following:
- Families experiencing crisis or significant life challenges
- Families who meet or fall below federal poverty guidelines
- Children in foster care
- Families experiencing homelessness
- Children with identified special needs
- Families receiving public assistance, including:
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
Families receiving TANF, SSI, or SNAP, as well as children in foster care or experiencing homelessness, qualify regardless of income.
Enrollment decisions may also consider circumstances and available space, with priority given to families with the greatest need. |
