Colorado Tartan Day

Boulder County Fairgrounds

April 11-12, 2026

Colorado Tartan Day is all about culture! We're happy to have B & D's Mediterranean Street Eats to our festival!

Did you know? There is a "Greek" Tartan!

The "Eleftheria" Tartan is the Greek word for freedom. The design was inspired by the friendship between Scotland and Greece. The white cross on the blue background represents the cross in the Greek flag and also the Saltire. The nine alternating blue and white stripes come from the Greek flag. The red, yellow, and black stripes represent the red and gold of the lion rampant, and the black and gold of the two headed eagle flag of the Empire of the Greeks.*
