Volunteers Wanted for Cub Scout Day Camps

Washington Crossing Council is searching for volunteers to assist with running another unforgettable summer of Cub Scout Day Camp. All camp locations are looking for helping hands to make these camps safe, supervised, and most of all, FUN!

Discounts are available for camper fees for the children of day camp volunteers!

Volunteer opportunities include:

Program and Camp Directors: Help lead the charge! Directors oversee a team of volunteers in planning and executing each day of camp.

Den Leaders: Cub Scouts are assigned a den for the week. The den leader makes sure all the Cubs in a den are safe and accounted for. Den leaders also work with program staff during activities and keep their den on schedule.

Health Officers: Nurses, first responders, and trained healthcare providers are needed to provide first aid, assist scouts with medication, and ensure that the standing medical orders are followed at day camp.

Program Staff: Shooting sports, handicraft, games, axe throwing, scout skills, cooking, fishing etc. Program staff ensures that each activity is run safely and that scouts receive the right instruction for a successful camp experience. Due to facility limitations and regulations, program offerings differ from location to location.
