WeHBSeeU TV host Dr. Erin Lynch, (left), interviews three CSU students Kayvon Adderley (in black tie), Samantha Charles and Dashawn Newbold for Innovation Unveiled: Into the Nano Realm during a Sept. 25 visit.
While Central State University researchers continue to mentor their students as the next generation of professionals in agriculture and science, the professors' work is being recognized in quarters. Dr. Mohammad Hadizadeh and three students are featured in a national docu-miniseries, titled "Innovation Unveiled: Into the Nano Realm," produced by WeHBSeeU TV, a digital streaming service.
"Innovation Unveiled is a docuseries dedicated to highlighting research and innovation at our nation's HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities)," WeHBSeeU TV notes in a blurb about the documentary. "In this episode, we learn about the varied aspects of nanoscience and how HBCU researchers and students are contributing to the cutting-edge aspects of nano from quantum physics to nanobiotechnology applications and microelectronics."
Hadizadeh added, "This documentary highlights our research on quantum few-body systems and showcases our students’ summer research training in semiconductors under the Intel project."
Pleased with the national spotlight on Central State, Hadizadeh proudly provided a guide to watching the docu-series on demand:
For your convenience, here are the specific segments where our work is featured:
- Starting at 1':40" – Hadizadeh discusses the basics of quantum physics.
- Starting at 33':40" – Hadizadeh explains quantum few-body systems and the university collaboration with Brazil on 2D quantum materials.
- Starting at 1:15':40" – Overview of our Intel project and the student research training from this summer, with insights from Adderley, Newbold and Charles.
Hadizadeh delivers a strong opening interview in the docu-series, with the students providing an equally strong conclusion. Watch online. |
