Northern Kentucky Forum Upcoming Events

The Northern Kentucky Forum is a collaboration of NKU's Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement, the Boone County Public Library, the Campbell County Public Library, the Kenton County Public Library and LINK NKY. The Forum's purpose is to foster civil, civic dialogue on topics of community interest.

What Does the Future of Health Care Look Like in Northern Kentucky?


The NKY Forum invites community members to participate in a new series of deliberative dialogues focused on the most pressing health care issues facing our region.


Topics May Include:

  • Access to health care services 
  • Mental and behavioral health 
  • Rural and urban health disparities 
  • Health care workforce challenges 
  • Affordability and insurance coverage 
  • Aging populations and caregiving 
  • Public health and prevention 


Through facilitated discussions, participants will examine different perspectives, weigh competing priorities, and work together to identify practical pathways forward.

"Planning in the County," A Lunch & Learn Series on Understanding the Decisions Shaping Northern Kentucky's Future


The places where we live, work, shop, and gather are shaped by planning decisions made every day. From housing and transportation to economic development and infrastructure, planning plays a critical role in the quality of life and long-term success of our communities.


Join the NKY Forum for a new Lunch & Learn series exploring the opportunities, challenges, and trends influencing county and regional planning across Northern Kentucky.


Each session will feature county experts and/or community leaders who will provide insights into the issues shaping our region and engage participants in meaningful discussion.

  • Infrastructure and public investment 
  • Land use and zoning decisions
