Life Moves Through Me as Vitality and Renewal

From the Unity Prayer Service for August 2026:

The life of God expresses through me as energy, vitality, and continuous renewal. This life is active in every part of my being, sustaining and restoring with intelligence and purpose. I bring my awareness to this movement of life within me and recognize it as the source of my strength and engagement. My body responds to this awareness, aligning with the natural flow of divine life. I live as an expression of this vitality, aware of the energy that supports my movement, my presence, and my participation in life. This life continues to renew and sustain me as I remain aware of its presence.

Spiritual Care Team Mission: To inspire positive change through spiritual presence and affirmative prayer, holding others in the awareness of wholeness, oneness, and God’s ever-present love

The Spiritual Care Team consists of URV members who serve as Unity Prayer Chaplains. Prayer Chaplains actively and intentionally participate in the stewardship of the URV community through one-on-one prayer support. Prayer Chaplains make monthly prayer contacts, lead the Healing Prayer at Sunday services, and serve as Keeper of the Flame, holding sacred spaces during the service. They listen and hold what they have heard in strictest confidence

The annual Spiritual Care Team overview will be held on Sunday, September 20, at 12:30 pm in the Prayer Chapel.

Join us for this informative and inspiring gathering to learn more about serving as a Prayer Chaplain at URV. Whether you're simply curious or are considering joining the team, you're warmly invited to attend.

If you plan to serve as a Prayer Chaplain this year, attendance at this overview is required—but coming to the meeting does not commit you to serving. It's a wonderful opportunity to explore the role, ask questions, and discern whether serving as a Prayer Chaplain is the right fit for you.

We are updating our Prayer Chaplain Connections list! URV Prayer Chaplains provide monthly confidential prayer support via phone, text, or email. If you are interested in receiving monthly confidential prayer, please download the Prayer Connection Form here. Print and fill it out, then return it at a Sunday service or mail it to URV (see address below). Forms are also available in the foyer at URV. A Prayer Chaplain will get in touch with you!
