FUN, SUN & CE- Our Annual Conference is specially designed to fit all attending OD's needs.


The GOA is proud to offer some of the best continuing education in the Southeast! There will be 14hrs of COPE Accredited CE, plus 1 hr of GA Laws and Rules. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with vendors, network with longtime friends and meet new colleagues. We even plan our schedule to include some downtime to enjoy the southern charm of the greater Charleston area.  


REGISTRATION FEES:

OD Registration: (Inclusive) Registration materials; All Continuing Education; Admission to all Social Events, All Meals and Drink tickets.


Fee Paid through April 30th/After May 1st:

$675/$700 - GOA/All AOA Members

$825 - Non-GOA/Non-AOA Members

$225.00 - OD Social Events Only*

*Inclusive of entrance into social events only. CE auditing is not permitted with social event only registration.


DISCOUNT CODES AVAILABLE:

Register 2 ODs in the same household and receive $25 off each registration. Registrants must both be registered at the full conference rate and is not inclusive of social only, guest or children’s registrations. Discount is applicable to both Member and Non-Member pricing.


Registering ODs that are AOA Members in good standing affiliated through another State Association or AFOS will receive member pricing by using the code designed for them.


Spouse/Guest/Children Registration: (Inclusive) Entrance into all social events; meals related to and corresponding drink tickets for all social events only.

It is not guaranteed the rooms will be available to this date should our block and the hotel sell out prior to said date. We encourage making reservations early.

The rate quoted on the link will show $405 - this is including the 16% resort fee that would have been added at the end of the booking process. The group rate is still $349.

Group Rates may be extended 2 days prior to and post conference dates based upon availability.

EDUCATION & POLICIES


There will be a total of 15 hours of CE offered at the GOA Annual Conference comprised of the following: 14 hours of COPE Accredited CE and 1 hour of NON COPE Georgia Laws and Rules.


  • Vailid name badges will serve admission to the lecture hall and must be worn by attendees at all times.  
  • Entrance and exit of the lecture hall will be monitored to meet Georgia State Board Regulations and COPE Guidelines.
  • Attendees may only be absent from any class for a maximum of 10 minutes/lecture hour. If absent more than the allotted time, attendee will be allowed to return to the lecture hall, but will not receive credit for that class.
  • We strongly encourage attendees to download the OE Tracker Mobile App. Scanning the QR Codes at the conclusion of each course will allow for immediate credit reporting. Additionally, the ARBO OE Tracker Scanning System and CE Cards will be available.
  • SC License Holders & FL License Holders - COPE Hours will be submitted to CE Broker. You must include your license no. on your registration form.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  There will be a $50.00 Administrative Fee for all cancelled registrations. We will issue refunds for cancellations made prior to May 15, 2024. No refunds will be issued after May 15, 2024 as hotel guarantees have been submitted. Substitutions are permitted at any time, please notify the GOA Office immediately with any changes or cancellations.
