Volunteering and Community Engagement

at CES Group Engineers

Building Stronger Communities Through Service

At CES Group Engineers, we believe that building strong communities goes beyond our engineering projects—

it’s also about actively supporting the people and organizations that make our neighborhoods

vibrant and thriving.

We’re proud to share some of the volunteer and community engagement initiatives that our dedicated team members have embraced, reflecting our commitment to purpose-inspired action that serves

the common good.

Wrapping Up the Coat Drive

Our Coat Drive, held in partnership with One Warm Coat and benefiting Crisis Assistance Ministry, was a great success thanks to our passionate team. Throughout October and early November, CES Group Engineers’ employees collected and donated new and gently used coats, ending with a volunteer day at Crisis Assistance Ministry’s Free Store. Together, we sorted, organized, and ensured that families in need had access to quality winter wear.

“We’d like to extend our gratitude to everyone in the firm for making this drive a reality—it was a rewarding effort, with 43 coats collected. For our first annual coat drive, this was truly a success!”

Our team’s support has helped ensure that individuals and families in our community can stay warm this winter, embodying the values of collaboration and community that CES Group champions.

Launching the Non-Perishables Food Drive

CES Group Engineers also hosted a Non-Perishables Food Drive in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank. This drive invited employees to donate pantry essentials, from canned fish to peanut butter, to help stock food pantries in the Carolinas. Our goal was to bring much-needed resources to those experiencing food insecurity, especially during the holiday season. By contributing in this way, our team not only helps meet immediate needs but also supports long-term food security across the region.

“With every donation, our team shows what community means

to CES Group—working together to make a meaningful difference.”

Celebrating Community through Internal Events

In addition to our volunteer initiatives, our internal events highlight the close-knit community at CES Group Engineers. From our recent brewery outings and BBQ parties to the holiday festivities around the corner, we believe that celebrating together strengthens our team and amplifies our commitment to each other and our shared mission.

Why We Volunteer

At CES Group Engineers, community engagement is a core part of who we are. As a Relationship Inspired, Regionally Recognized firm, we’re committed to fostering meaningful connections and giving back. These efforts, from the Coat Drive to the Food Drive, reflect our purpose-driven approach and the values we hold dear. Each hour volunteered, and each item donated, is part of building a better, stronger community—one where everyone has the resources to thrive.
