Qualifications to Apply


To be considered for Burlington County Farm Fair Queen, applicants must meet the following criteria:



  1. Must be a resident of Burlington County.
  2. Must have completed her sophomore, junior, or senior year in high school (or equivalent homeschool level).
  3. Should be involved in or have an interest in one or more of the following areas:
  • Home Economics
  • 4-H
  • Grange
  • Living or working on a farm or farm market
  • FFA (Future Farmers of America)
  • Girl Scouts
  • Preservation of agriculture in Burlington County
  • Ecology or land preservation
  • Horticulture or gardening



Requirements


All applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Burlington County Farm Fair Queen competition:



  1. Completed Essay and Application (see attachments).
  2. Two recent photographs for publicity use prior to the Fair. One must be a school yearbook-style photo.
  3. Participation in a rehearsal, date and time to be determined by the Queen Contest Director.
  4. An escort is required for the crowning ceremony (e.g., father, grandfather, brother, or friend).
  5. The selected Queen will be required to:
  • Attend and participate in the 2026 Burlington County Farm Fair (July 21–25, 2026).
  • Make appearances throughout the 2026–2027 year at Farm Fair-related events and activities.
  • Be present to crown the 2026 Burlington County Farm Fair Queen in July 2026.
