ESTATE AND COSTUME SALE IN THE TENT

Saturday July 25 & Sunday July 26, 2026

10:00 am - 3:00 pm Each Day

LOCATION: Joan Hemm’s property in the mountains above Boulder

501 Coughlin Meadows Rd., Boulder, CO 80302 (enter into your GPS before you leave town as there is no cell service between town and this address). There is no longer any construction on Hwy 119! We do have parking on the mountain but best to carpool if you can.

Please wear sturdy shoes as the tent is set up in the woods and the ground is uneven.

This sale is, in part, to find new homes for the Estate Collection of costumes from Terry Hendrick to help fund her ongoing care. Terry was a Hollywood costumer for several years, taking part in the making of the TV series Centennial as well as the movie Coalminer’s Daughter back in the day. She was one of the original Miss Kitty Girls who entertained and promoted Miss Kitty’s Journal in the 1980s-90s, giving Ladies of a Certain Age a visual presence in Victorian Clothing and encouraging females to get out

of the house and have some fun with other women.

There will be smaller-sized shoes, Victorian clothes, vintage 1980s pieces to build on, hand-made hats, gloves and other accessories. Petticoats, undergarments and original Edwardian dresses are included, as well as vintage Gunne Sax and Jessica McClintock gowns. Some clothing racks will be for sale as well.

Other costumers (including Joan Hemm) and vendors who specialize in vintage will also offer their collections of costumes, patterns, accessories, and clothing for sale. Please bring your own bags.

We will have iced tea and cookies. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch and/or finger foods to share.
