This is the season to slow down as we transition from the late summer to early fall. Taran will share how Ayurveda, the science of nature, can support our self-care and help us connect with nature on a deeper level. We will begin the morning with gentle yoga to boost the immune system and balance our nervous system. The focus will be on supporting the transition to fall/winter and Vata stage of life. There will be time for dosha exploration, body treatments and presentation on healthy aging from the Ayurveda/nature perspective. Ayurveda refreshments included as well as a self-care bundle to take home. Bring your own lunch for those staying the full day. After lunch and nature walk participants will have the option of a 60-minute sound bath in the garden with Trinity Sound. Instruments include clear quartz singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes and shakers, rain sticks, harmonium, voice, and more. This retreat will be the ultimate in self-care, restoration, and relaxation set amidst the beauty and grandeur of Taft Gardens. Full Day retreat includes Sound Bath ticket (10-4pm) $125 or Half Day Retreat Option 10-2pm $75. A portion of the proceeds goes to Taft Gardens. All participants receive full access to the gardens until sunset. Overnight accommodation available.
