Ruth Keeler Memorial Library's Annual Fair and Book Sale Weekend

Saturday, May 11th, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

We are happy to accept high-quality books that you would eagerly bring into your home. No soiled, moldy, or torn books, please.



*Please note* We can only accept donations after April 20th, 2024, as we do not have storage space to hold onto books! Here is our updated list of accepted donations.

  • Fresh Fiction (2020 or newer) 
  • Young Adult Fiction and Manga


Items to leave at home (or recycle):

  • Anything smelly, yellowed, or moldy
  • Airport/mass market paperbacks
  • Audio cassette tapes, audiobook CDs & VHS tapes

  • Encyclopedia sets

  • Study Guides & reference books and textbooks

Where is the book sale?

At the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library Fair on May 11th, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.


Is a tax receipt provided for book donations?

Yes, upon request.


Where should I drop off my book donations?

Donations can be brought to the library starting Saturday, April 20th at 10:30 am. Please do not leave donations outside the library.


What methods of payment will be accepted at the sale?

We happily accept cash, checks, credit cards, and PayPal.


What happens to the books you don't sell at the end of Book Sale?

We are delighted to partner with local, national, and international nonprofits like the Faith Kenya Mission America, which can take as many books as they'd like after the book sale.

Library Volunteer Sign-Up: Bake, Plant, and Book Sale


Join us in supporting the Bake, Plant, and Book Sale by volunteering! We need volunteers for various roles across three main areas: the bake sale, the plant sale, and the book sale. Each area requires assistance in setup, sales, and cleanup tasks.
