Nursing CE's are available for all nurses that attend the conference in it's entirety and complete an evaluation at the close of the day. No partial CE's will be awarded.


CE certificates will be emailed to you within 2 weeks.

8am-8:30am: Registration, Light Breakfast, and Networking

Breakfast will include: assorted breakfast pastries, bagels with cream cheese, butter and preserves, yogurt, coffee and tea


8:30am - 8:45am: Welcome - Dr. Allison Souza, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, CDDN


8:45am – 9:45am: Keynote with Kristen Reed, RN, BSN, BA, HN-BC

9:45am - 10:45am: Are You PSMing? Preventing Skin Breakdown - Greg Stelmach, OTR/L

This presentation will provide an overview of how to keep the skin healthy, understand what is and causes a pressure sore, complications of pressure sores, and how to prevent individuals from developing pressure sores. 


10:45am – 11:15am: Break and Vendor Exhibits

We have numerous vendors sharing their products and services. Enjoy a brief break and then visit the vendor tables to learn more about how they can support you in your work!


11:15am – 12:15pm: Preventing and Managing Foot Pressure Sores - Abby Perez, RN & Corina Mascarella, RN

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive guide to preventing and managing foot pressure sores. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the factors contributing to foot pressure sores, including prolonged pressure, friction, and shear forces. They will learn to recognize the early signs of pressure sores and implement proactive measures to prevent their development, such as regular skin inspections, repositioning techniques, and the use of supportive footwear and padding.


12:15pm - 1:15pm: Lunch Break

Lunch will be a wrap buffet with soup. The buffet will include Caesar salad, assortment of roast beef, roast turkey, chicken Caesar or tuna salad wraps, pasta salad, potato chips, array of fresh seasonal fruit, fresh baked cookies, homemade brownies, coffee and soda station.

1:30pm - 2:15pm: Foot Health in Diabetes: Understanding Complications and Care - Amy Neveu, RN, BSN

This session will provide a brief overview of diabetes, common complications, and recommendations for footcare.


2:15pm - 2:45pm: Caring for Feet: Wellness & Prevention to Maximize Health & Quality of Life - Tina McDonald, RN, CFCN, CFCS

This session will provide a brief overview of the basics of footcare from assessment to skin care, footwear, and troubleshooting. This session will use case studies to address common foot and nail disorders as well as interventions.


2:45pm - 3:15pm: Break and Vendor Exhibits


3:15pm - 4:15pm: Foot Foundations: Exploring Balance and Stability - Kim DeLeo, BS, PTA

This course is designed to deepen participants' understanding of the intricate relationship between foot health and balance. Throughout this engaging and informative program, participants will delve into the fundamentals of balance while gaining insights into the critical role that feet play in maintaining stability.
