to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Civil Rights

The Montana Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Committee) seeks to examine potential civil rights violations resulting from diversity, equity, and inclusion policies at Montana public universities including any concerns related to discrimination based on race, religion, sex, and any denial of equal protection of the law in the administration of justice.

As part of this study, the Committee will hold a series of virtual public briefings, each focused on specific focus areas, to hear testimony from subject matter experts, community stakeholders, and impacted individuals.
