What Is “For the Life of the World”? For the Life of the World is an invitation for the Church to understand and respond to global health with faith, compassion, and clarity. At its heart, this campaign is about helping God’s people see more clearly, care more deeply, and live out their faith in ways that reflect the love of Christ for all people. Teaching the Church We provide simple, biblically grounded resources that help pastors, leaders, and congregations understand global health. These resources answer foundational questions such as what it is, why it matters, and how it impacts real lives across the world. Equipping Leaders Pastors, church leaders, and Global Health Champions help carry this vision into their communities. Through teaching, prayer, and discipleship, they guide their congregations to engage these realities in ways that are faithful and rooted in Scripture. Sharing Widely Across churches and digital platforms, we share stories, resources, and reflections that help more people grow in awareness and understanding. As the Church learns together, it begins to respond together. A National Moment Together On August 16, 2026, churches across the country will come together for Global Health Sunday. This will be a shared moment of teaching, prayer, and reflection as we consider God’s heart for the vulnerable and the healing of the nations.
When the Church understands, the Church responds. And, this campaign exists to help God’s people grow in awareness, compassion, and faithfulness as we live out the Gospel together for the life of the world. |
