We are very happy to announce that Chakung Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche will be joining us once again as Vajra Master.

A qualified Dudjom lineage holder, Rinpoche is also a fourth generation descendant of Dudjom Lingpa himself. It will be a great blessing to have Rinpoche, with his powerful, compassionate presence, guiding us in this important retreat!

Our resident lamas, Lama Chonam and Sangye Khandro, will also join us and help guide us in the practice of this special text.

Attendance Requirements:

To attend, you must have one of these:

(1) Vajrakilaya empowerment.

(2) Any other Vajrayana empowerment AND daily practice under the guidance of a qualified lama.

OR

(3) Attend the scriptural empowerment* given on the first day of the retreat.

Note about the scriptural empowerment: On the first day of the retreat, Rinpoche will give this empowerment, particularly as a blessing for those who have not received a Vajrakilaya empowerment. All retreat attendees, new and old, are welcome to attend and receive this blessing.

*Special Note for Zoom Attendees, Please Read:*

The scriptural empowerment will be made available on Zoom. However, Rinpoche says that if this is your first empowerment, then he requests that you attend the entire retreat (all sessions). He requests that you do not attend the empowerment on Zoom unless you plan to attend the whole retreat. However, if you have already met the attendance requirements listed above, then you may attend this empowerment if you wish and you do not need to attend the entire retreat.

FIRST DAY SANG OFFERING CEREMONY

Sang (Smoke Offering) Ceremony!

Sunday, November 9, 9:00 - 9:45 am

Traditionally on the first morning of our yearly retreats, before we begin the first session of the day, we gather in front of the temple to offer a Sang Ceremony. We will practice the RIWO SANG CHÖD, "Mountain of Burnt Offerings," practice revealed by Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje. We hope to see everyone there! (Zoom attendees: We are going to do our best to Zoom this to you this year--we'll see how it goes....)

Sangha Meals Offered to All Attendees!

We are delighted to announce that, once again, in addition to the ever-popular midafternoon tea offering, meals will be offered to the entire sangha of in-person attendees, free of charge.

Come and practice and be nourished!

*Please read: A note about registration fees:*

Our primary goal is always to make sure that the dharma is available and finances pose no obstacle. The basic retreat fee of $400 in-person / $200 online was calculated to cover retreat and center costs. If you are able to offer this suggested base rate -- or above and beyond this in the supporter or sponsor categories -- that support is greatly appreciated! However, if your situation is such that you are unable to afford any of these levels of registration, you are welcome to register for a single day, a single session, or multiple sessions or days, according to your means, and make this your offering to attend the entire retreat. This applies to both Zoom and in-person registration. If you have any questions, please contact tcretreats@gmail.com.
