Junior High Theater Club

Whether you dream of being the next Broadway sensation or simply want to develop your skills for upcoming High School productions, Junior High Theater Club is the perfect place for our older and more experienced actors to let their creativity shine. This spring, our actors will choose from a selection of age-appropriate shows that are geared toward advancing their skills and challenging our actors to new theatrical heights!

Each student will be assigned specific roles where they are not just actors; they are storytellers, delving into character development that helps them uncover the unique traits that make each role special. With the guidance of our experienced instructors, your child will learn to expand their vocal potential, gaining the confidence to sing more difficult songs. Students will learn more challenging choreography that will not only enhance their stage presence but also empower them to express themselves through movement.

The session will culminate with a full musical performance on stage at QofA Holy Family Hall, offering our actors a transformative experience that transcends the realm of theater. This production serves as an inspiring platform to cultivate essential life skills, expanding their ability to communicate with confidence and express themselves authentically. Surrounded by friends in this supportive environment, they will not only expand their acting talents but also embark on a journey of personal and social growth, learning the value of collaboration and creativity alongside their peers where every actor can shine!

To help us prepare, we ask parents to register by December 15th. At that time, we will distribute a list of possible musicals to choose from all ask the students to rank their preferences. Suggestions for musicals to consider can be submitted by emailing Play@MusicalChairsStudio.com
