| Hello Living Springs Church Family,
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Is there a challenge in your life right now? We have a choice about what we look at and what we meditate on. It can be hard naturally not to focus on the challenges in our lives, to think about them constantly in the background of our day...and night. What is the solution to this? Immerse yourself in the Word of God. Find anointed messages that speak about victory and faith and play them while you drive, while you clean the house, while you get ready in the morning, before bed, etc. Find the Scriptures in the Bible that speak about the challenge you are dealing with, write the Scriptures down, and speak them out loud 3 times a day (morning, noon, and night) to feed your spirit. This is your medicine for whatever challenge you are facing. Proverbs 4:22 says that God's Word is medicine. Take one of the Scriptures that particularly jumps out to you and meditate on it every day until it becomes more real to you than the challenge you are facing. Speak this one over and over and over, slowly, savoring every word because it is the powerful Word of God to which every knee must bow. Speak the name of Jesus over that challenge, tell it that Jesus' name is higher, and it is defeated and must bow to the name of Jesus, and tell it to go, in Jesus' name. Then praise God, thank God, constantly stay in a place of praise and gratitude. Every time that challenge tries to come back and torment you, respond with the Scripture that you are meditating on, and declare out loud that Jesus is higher. We don't fight thoughts with thoughts; we fight thoughts with words. Speak the Word of God!
Jesus secured our victory 2000 years ago. At the name of Jesus, every knee must bow, and as His precious child, the victory is yours in Jesus' name!
Blessings, Shelly Pippin |
