POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a passionate and organized Training Coordinator I to join our AARTH Program team. This role will focus on coordinating day-to-day activities for AARTH programs that align with our mission, vision, and organizational goals. Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Training Coordinator will collaborate with community partners to enhance healthcare access and quality of life for our target populations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage communication and promotional materials for AARTH projects to engage diverse audiences.
- Implement community-focused trainings and document their outcomes.
- Coordinate workshops based on community needs assessments.
- Organize logistical activities related to program deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with collaborating partners to identify training opportunities.
- Assist with program evaluation and quality improvement practices, including data entry oversight and reporting.
- Collaborate with clinicians and designers to create training materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (public health, clinical or social services) or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with webinar software (Zoom, Teams).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A commitment to understanding chronic health issues affecting African American and Black African communities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with diverse communities and a strong interest in community service.
- Professional communication and public speaking skills.
- Familiarity with evaluation tools and data analysis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate effectively.
