VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Spiritual Gifts!

If you saw Pastor Sara L. Isbell's "Spiritual Gifts" Sermon (watch here!) and took the UMC Spiritual Gifts survey (take survey here!), you may be curious about what ways you can offer your gifts to God and the church. If so, we encourage you to to take a look at the guide we've created to help inform you about what parts of Wesley may need your assistance and specialties.

December 16th distribution is a month not having a committee or group in charge, it's "At Large", open to anyone who wants to serve. We're looking for 30 volunteers so if you haven't had the opportunity to help with the paper distribution, or it's been awhile since you did, now's your chance to help families who really need your help!

Contact Karen Daudelin at [email protected] to sign up.

Volunteers Are Needed at Wesley Church!

Nursery Workers

Nursery workers are needed every week during services and Wesley Church is running very low on volunteer help. Please take a moment of time to reach out to Kathi Pritts and let her know that you are interested in spending an hour or so each week with our littles.

Transportation Ministry

One of the wonderful ways Wesley helps nurture disciples for Jesus Christ is by driving them to the church for service when they are unable to do so themselves. Wesley needs transportation drivers to help fulfill our mission each week. Please contact Randy Kingdon for more info.

Media and Communications!

There is a large amount of ground to cover when it comes to tech and communications at Wesley! If you have experience with digital communications and design, we'd love to have your assistance!

Areas needing assistance:

• Website (proofreading and editing)

• Worship Technology workers

(Soundboard, Projector, Cameras)

• Bulletins (proofreading, folding etc.)

If you are interested in assisting us in any of these areas,

reach out to us at [email protected]

Hand Out Pods and Quarters

Loads of Love Laundry Assistance welcomes friends interested in helping families who need laundry pods, detergent, fabric softeners, and quarters. Handing these items out is a great way to show how Wesley Church cares about our community when in need.

Loads of Love meets at The Wash House (609 N. Clinton) every fourth Tuesday at 4:30 pm. Reach out to Gary Thompson here at the church to help!

The 2023 building season is underway and we need volunteers to help with all jobs!
