The Ward hosts two monthly meetings:

1) an informational/speaker meeting (the 4th Tuesday)

2) a planning meeting (the 1st Tuesday)

GET INVOLVED

We are seeking involvement of our community members in the Ward. This involvement may be simply attending our monthly informational meetings. Perhaps you’d like to be more involved (no minimum of hours required), here are some possibilities:

Legislative Session:

• Be informed. Read about the bills and provide voter feedback to committees and your legislative members.

Non-Election Cycle

• Join our planning team monthly meetings
• Help with cleaning voter rolls
• Help with Community outreach - phone calls to your neighborhood or precinct
• Plan/coordinate “Community Ward 22 Engagements” - help plan a meetup/coffee (30 minutes) in your neighborhood/precinct to introduce the Ward
• Neighborhood/Precinct Welcome Team - meet new neighbors in your precinct
• Write Opinion Pieces
• Elected Representative Contact Committee - quarterly or as needed, meetings/communications with officials that represent our community (County, School Board, City Council, Sheriff, State Senate & House Representatives, US Senate & House Representatives).
• Quarterly Ward Newsletter - help with layout creation of quarterly newsletter

Election Cycle

• Phone calls for candidates
• Door knocking in your neighborhood (or other areas) for candidates
• Volunteering at the RPBC offices during the election season
• Helping with mailers (stuff envelopes, place stamps and address labels)
