It's More Than A Meeting,

It's An Event

The May 31st meeting of the Presbytery of Arkansas will be held in-person, at Ferncliff Camp & Conference Center in their newly completed Evergreen Hall (pictured left) where they will be providing us with lunch free of charge. Your host packet contains a map.  The entire meeting will be live-streamed with no online participation. The link to watch the livestream will be posted on the Presbytery's website, presbyark.org and on Presbyark Connect, our Facebook group page.

Everyone is invited to attend, whether a commissioner of a congregation or someone wanting to know more about our mutual ministry together. Our hope is that everyone will take part in some or all of the optional opportunities being offered to connect with members of our Presbytery in different ways.

Ferncliff needs our lunch count early, so, the deadline to register and reserve your lunch is Wednesday, May 21!

Reserve your room at Ferncliff soon! Use this link to reserve a room or a Yurt at Ferncliff before they are all gone. Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a time of respite and connecting to nature and others by coming to Ferncliff early and enjoying the leisurely opportunity to hike, canoe, fish, walk the labyrinth, or just sit in a swing and meditate, visit with a friend, or read a good book. If you're feeling a little more active, try playing some Sand Volleyball, Gaga Ball, or Disc Golf. There will also be opportunities to go on a tour of Ferncliff or make a Farmstead Visit.

Presbyterian night at the ballpark on Friday, May 30th, is another great opportunity to connect. That night, the Arkansas Travelers play the San Antonio Missions at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock. Come enjoy a picnic dinner, a fun Travelers ballgame, and post-game fireworks!

As long as the temperature is above 75 degrees, the splash pad will be available at no additional cost for children in the 5th grade and younger. The total cost is $20 per person (all ages).

Presbytery staff Connector, Julie Price, will be under the bridge in front of the entrance to the ballpark from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. the night of the game, passing out the reserved tickets.

The registration form must be completed by Friday, May 16, at 12:00 noon.
