| Samona Caldwell is the Director of the Business Connect Program with the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission.
As Director, Samona’s primary role is to continue to grow and develop LASEC’s signature supplier diversity initiative, Business Connect. She manages relationships with external and internal stakeholders, major event partners, suppliers, community members and city and county leadership.
Samona recently embarked on this new career journey in September 2023. Prior to that, she was a Government Affairs Coordinator with State Farm Insurance for 17 years for Los Angeles and Nevada.
Mrs. Caldwell serves as an advisory board member for the Brotherhood Crusade, and board member for Ascencia – Homeless services, Executive Services Corps of Southern CA, and serves as Educate California’s Board Chair.
Samona holds a city-wide position with the Diversity Coalition Committee, Signal Hill, CA, is a member of the Public Relations Society of American and an alumna of Leadership CA, 2020.
Samona enjoys working out, reading, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She is married and lives in Signal Hill, CA with her husband, two kids and labradoodle. |
