Congrats to our Grand Prize Winner, Monica M. from Woodland Hills Academy Humanities Magnet!!!

Monica drew a California poppy flower being planted and protected. She designed her logo to represent the importance of protecting diverse species across the state of California. She wrote, "I feel the California poppy represents our beautiful and diverse State Park system that, like the California poppy, needs all of our protection," and we couldn't agree more. Congrats Monica on creating the OFFICIAL California State Parks PORTS Earth Week Logo! Luke said, "Let's say that 10 people pick up 5 pieces of trash each day for a week. That's 350 pieces in 1 week!....helping the planet is the best thing to help you!"

As a fan of Mario and the ocean, Adrienne said, "we can all be heroes of the planet by taking care of it!....Mario is taking care of the oceans and we should too!"
